1. A-State at UNLV--This is a big one for the Red Wolves. Last thing you want is to go 1-3 in non conference, and Georgia awaits.

2. Furman at Georgia State---This is a trap game. Period. Furman is not bad at all and if GSU is still celebrating there could be projectile vomiting at GSU Stadium.

3. CCU at KU--I wanna say the Chants have a shot, but it won't be easy with Pooka reinstated.

4. Wyoming at Texas State--Interested to see what the Cats do in their home opener. Wyoming may be feeling their oats after beating Missouri last week. Or, they might realize they're pretty good and play even better.

5. Liberty at Louisiana--Flames return a 3,000 yd QB, a 1,000 runner and a 1,000 yard receiver. The receiver is very very good. Cajuns' offense should do well.

6. Maine at Georgia Southern--Methinks the Eagles are an angry bunch. I expect them to play well and win this one by two scores or more.

7. Charlotte at App--Snoozefest. App wins big big.

8. ULM at FSU--Hope I'm wrong, but I don't expect this to be close.

9. Jackson State at South Alabama---zzzzzzzzzzzzz

I need to remind everyone that we are still without our head coach due to the death of his wife and now a major heart attack or stroke of his dad. Our brand new defensive coordinator is trying to devise a game plan and be DC. Almost all of our other coaches are also new this year. I would not be surprised in the least if we go 1-3 to start out. If that is not bad enough, 4 of our starting linemen, our two best receivers, and our best TE are all out.

Better beat Furman or O-line shaved their heads for nothing lol.
