Did you watch the game this weekend? We are also missing our #1 WR and have a starting QB running a flag football offense with 2-A High School level arm strength. Oh, and we had 6 yards total rushing with 5 minutes left in the 3rd Q against an FCS/SWAC school just yesterday.

Dude, do you even follow USM football? This is what we do. We'll beat MSU and then come home in a few weeks and lose to UTEP.

I’ll go with MSU 24-13

IF MS plays defense within 8 yards of the line of scrimmage we are screwed. They will dominate time of possession and easily beat us. IF we can get them spread out a little (a big if) we can hang around. My realistic prediction MS 36- USM 17.

State’s defense was awful this past week. Our playcalling was as vanilla as possible. Gonna come down to if our offense looks any better and if our D can stop their young offense from moving it.

Gonna predict 24-14 State, but believe we could win it. State is mediocre this year and I really do think that score could be flipped.

State didn't look good at all against the Ragin Cajuns... And ULL hung with them, I was at a restaurant and it looked like what fueled the Cowbell Crew was a few blown plays by ULL.

I think this game will look a lot like Auburn last year. I think we will cover...the line is +16 or so. Our O and D lines look weak. You cannot beat an SEC team with weak play in the trenches...prove me wrong big fellas. If we win the turnover battle and have a decent rushing attack, there is a chance. We haven't allowed 30 points in a game in the last 12 games...I think...but neither has State.

So what's the deal with MSU's suspended players? Are they still suspended? Are they playing against us?

I have a good feeling for USM about this game. It'll be tight, but someone in CUSA is bound to beat a P5 this year.

Officially: USM told App ST that we were not coming to their stadium to play that weekend and that we were more than happy for them to come to Hattiesburg that weekend. App ST volunteered Chattanooga and we said no.

Really was a shame we couldn't get the game in, weather was perfect that day, or at a minimum meet the neutral site.

Of all my dealings with other school's fans on CSNBBs, I've never encountered a more butt-hurt fanbase than App State fans regarding the USM/App State game that got cancelled last year due to a hurricane. Truly, the most butt-hurt of all butt-hurt.
