UTRGV - NMSU 0-3
UVU - CSU-Bakersfield 3-0
Seattle - GCU 0-3

UVU with an impressive sweep of CSU-B. UVU is a hard team to figure out.

GCU 3-0
NMSU 3-0
KC 2-1
UVU 2-1
UTRGV 1-2
CSU-B 1-2
CBU 1-1
Seattle 0-3
Chicago St 0-3

4 October
KC - Chicago St

5 October
Seattle - CSU - B
UVU - GCU - This could be a good one.
UTRGV - CBU

7 October
NMSU - CBU
UVU was picked to finish 2nd in the WAC behind NMSU so their poor record could be deceiving. GCU, on the other hand, was picked to finish near the bottom with only Seattle and Chicago State below them. Should be a good match on Saturday.

That is what makes the team so hard to figure out. They were selected 2nd, lost to some not really good teams in the non-conference schedule, then turn it on for conference play. Should be fun.

RE: WAC Volleyball 2019
So CBU actually won the first game last night, but then NMSU came back and won the next three. So NMSU looking good right now. But their earlier loss to Sac St shows that they can fall asleep and play poorly. NMSU had three players with double digit kills. They have a 6'5'' middle hitter who can move very well. She will cause matchup problems for most teams.

NMSU 4-0
GCU 3-1
UVU 3-1
KC 2-1

CSU-B 2-2
CBU 1-3
Chicago St 0-3

GCU getting it done without the services of libero Teagan DeFalco on this road trip, as she is down for a short time with injury. Will make challenging Aggies in Las Cruces a tall task, but also hoping to see Lopes at full strength on NMSU's return trip to Phoenix in Nov.

NMSU crushes GCU today. It wasn't even close. It's an early preview of basketball season.

CSU-B @ UTRGV 1-3
CBU @ UVU 3-2 UVU continues their off season. Great win for CBU.
GCU @ NMSU 0-3 When NMSU's 6'5'' middle hitter has 19 kills for the matches , and GCU has 18 kills total for the matches, not a recipe for success. Not sure how much DeFalco would have made a difference tonight for GCU.
KC @ Seattle 3-2 Seattle still with only one conference victory on the season.

NMSU 6-0
GCU 4-2
KC 4-1
UVU 3-2
UTRGV 3-3
CSU-B 2-4
CBU 2-3
Seattle 1-5
Chicago St 0-4

14 Oct
CSU @ UVU
CBU @ Seattle

I would expect a UVU and CBU win tonight.

19 October

UTRGV @ KC

21 October
CSU-B @ CBU

The NMSU @ KC match should be a good one to see what KC truly is. There has been not much that has slowed down the Aggie attack this fall. KC with UTRGV in town should be an important one as well. From a competitive standpoint, it might be the best of the weekend. I am also curious to see the California grudge match as well on Monday, and GCU plays the CA twins. Lots of good games, I am looking forward to this weekend!

A couple of character building games for GCU, winning both road games in 5 sets. Second half of conference play should be real interesting!

It is just nice to see GCU in a race for second place. Typically GCU volleyball is fighting to stay out of the cellar. It has been a great turnaround season so far for them.

While the Aggies are strong favorites to win the conference title, I am not seeing how they could lock up the title this week. They still have 8 matches left and only a two game lead over GCU and UMKC.
Key matches this week seem to be UVU vs. NMSU & GCU vs. UMKC.

You are correct, my math was off. But three wins could put them 5 up with 5 to play. So why technically not winning, it could be very close.

NMSU will win the WAC. It's already in the bag. Another WAC Championship.
