You guys have the smallest starting CB's I've seen in any depth chart i've looked at....ever

6-1 isn’t that big of a deal. 5-8 probably is.

Maybe, but there have been some really great short corners. Javier Arenas was 5'9". Played in nearly 70 games in his first five years in the NFL. It's about how much leverage you have. Now, whether or not Texas State has one of those guys is a different matter. They've recruited very well, so maybe. Who knows.

Taye Hayes and Clifton Duck are both listed at 5'9" on the Jaguars and Bears rosters.

CB Leodis McKelvin out of Troy was a 1st Round draft pick, 11th overall in 2008. He was 5'10".

I'm looking at their weight. Both right at 160 lbs.

McKelvin was also around 185 lbs. These two are probably around 155 to 165. That is tiny, tiny, tiny for FBS football. Shoot, that would be small for Top 25 teams of FCS.

Morris had 44 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 sack, 1 INT, 6 PBUs, and a forced fumble as a freshman last year.
Rodgers had 37 tackles, 1 TFL, 2 INTs, 5 PBUs, and a QBH as a sophomore last year.

Both returning starters on a solid defense. They'll be aight.

South Alabama has one of those as well. Jack Brooks, 26 year-old freshman punter from Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia. Can kick it with either foot and has boomed them from both all summer. Also the holder on FGs.

So, that makes four teams with an Australian punter, correct? Ark St, App St, Texas St and USA

RE: Depth Charts
FWIW, the weights on roster haven't been updated in a while.

Morris is from West Orange-Stark HS, one of the best smaller programs in the state. They have the highest winning percentage in Texas HS football history and have put several DBs in the NFL.

Rogers is from Lufkin HS, one of the best non-DFW/Austin/Houston big schools in the state. A top 40 winning percentage. They have put a lot of guys in the NFL. None of that really matters but it's kind of interesting.

Both were solid last year and should be this year as well.

Speed, hands, body control, and ups are for more important than height at CB imho.

Cajuns sophomore punter Rhys Burns is also from Australia. He's the third one from down under that's been with us.

We're comparing Australian punters.

Pretty wild that half the punters in the conference are from there.
