and the gameday experience gets even better...today USM announced sEATz mobile app will allow fans to order from an app and have concessions delivered to them. It didn't mention it but pretty sure beer sales will not be allowed using the app. From the usm website:

Fans will need to download the app through the Apple App Store or via Google Play. After an easy account setup, Golden Eagle fans will be able to order from their seats and not miss any of the action on game day.

1. Download sEATz today.

2. Select "The Rock" as your venue.

3. Type in your seat location.

4. Order your favorite food and drinks.

5. Enjoy the game while the sEATz team brings your order to you.

I bet this doesn't go over very well.....

if a lot of fans orders this way it's going to be slow, very slow, getting that order. But it's a great ideal for making a game more enjoyable for fans.


$2 cokes, $3 burgers, $1 popcorn, $2 hot dogs, are these prices correct?

At Western it would cost you $5 or close to it for each of those. Unless you go to the Sonic concession stand and for $8 or $9 you can get a coke, burger, fries.

Yes. Prices are being lowered this season to those amounts. The $5 you mention is what it has cost in previous seasons. Mississippi State lowered their prices in a similar fashion last season, and it, not surprisingly, went over well with their fans.

We had this at the UH home game last year. Worked really well and it was our biggest home game for attendance.

Even if it did take longer than standing in line (it didn’t) I’d rather be in my seat watching the game instead of in line at the stand while I wait for the goods.
