I read something a while back that I find instructive: Trump's opponents take him literally, but not seriously. Trump's supporters take him seriously, but not literally.

Larry King said it during the election.. Don't pay attention to the antics.. Pay attention to what he wants to do.. King said the Trump we saw on TV was just a show, but the man off air is the one you want in control.

No big deal. Says right there in the article that Iran has repeatedly stated they have no intentions of building a bomb as they feel nuclear weapons are forbidden by Islam. We can trust the Iranians can't we?

You likely haven't even read 95% of it. A lot of books are weird when you don't even know what is going on.

I remember back when I had not read most of it, and thought it was weird too. Of course like everyone else I loved to argue and claim I had read most of it, when I had read maybe 5% and didn't even understand half of the 5% I had read.

As I told the other poster, the question you should be asking is is it real or not.

Instead most people choose to never read it, pass blind judgment on it anyway and then convince themselves of whatever makes them feel better about it.

And BTW - Lying, murder, rape and subjugation are central parts of the non believers world as well. So lets not stand in judgement of things you don't understand and aren't even trying to understand.

The Bible is not a book of perfect sinless people, its a book of flawed, ignorant sinners just like you and me.

The only people who try to pretend otherwise are non believers who reject it blindly anyway.
