I admittedly don't get to watch games that often, but just the score/stat lines seem like something's off this year. UVa will be a tough game coming up, but then hope we can get back on track against ODU and Princeton before heading into conference play.

Take a guess at who is hurt again. Scoring has been a challenge.

The final score was 8-1. What an ugly loss. I don't recall seeing this kind of a score. The team better wake up as our AD has a short leash.

That's a whipping. UVA should win that one, but we should be more competitive.

Shackford will have a longer leash than most, I reckon. Huge hired her and she's besties with Jill Ellis.

Daly's team was 2 games under .500 when Huge relieved him of duty.

Coach Shackford should eventually be successful. She took a moribund program at Princeton, built a powerhouse and amazingly got Princeton to the NCAA final four of women's soccer.

Two years here is much too short for any kind of assessment.

These still aren't her recruits. Still commits from Daly. Even her own kid was recruited by JD.

Overall, we have fallen off the last decade.

Our roster, and I suppose our recruiting, is too heavily based in VA. 20 of 30 players. UVA has 3 players from VA on their roster. Virginia isnt the overabundant "hot-bed" that it used to be. The rest of the country caught up a decade ago and our recruiting needs to adjust. International players also seem more heavily permeating the college ranks now and should be looked into.

Men also 15 of 27 players in-state.
