Nova made it look easy. 34-14. Really looks like gate is struggling with faster paced offenses.

RE: CAA Football 2019
Villanova’s offense slowed down in the 2nd half, but the whole
game was a lot of colgate’s inabilities to stop the run. JR. RB Justin Covington ran all over them. He should have a good year this year.

You'd think a great '18 season, top 25 ranking, and playing a great program would've made for close to a packed house. Most students were probably not on campus yet, but come on. That's embarrassing...Nova probably thought they were playing at home with a crowd that small.

The crowd sounded very pro-Nova but I know the ambiance mics were on the visitors side of the stadium, so not sure what was real.

There were about 100 Nova fans there when they showed their "section" after a score. Colgate fans just didn't have much to cheer about.

For Colgate, 5,000 is a big turnout. That's why we play them back-to-back home.

Not CAA but Howard isn't even putting up a fight, down 65-0 to UMD early in 3Q. It was 56-0 at halftime.

Congratulations to URI. They will play under the lights, at home, for the first time in program history when they host UD.

JMU felt pretty good about hanging with a young WVU squad. Mountaineers down 31-0 to Missouri at the half.

VT smoking ODU 24-3

Holy Cross won 13-10. UNH ran well, but their air game has struggled this season.

JMU, Albany and Towson are winning going away. Maine is losing to GA Southern. Utah St is crushing SBU. UD and URI are in a tussle. Villanova smacked Lehigh.

In other news, Virginia Union is trouncing Hampton. VU running back is all over the Pirates. HU's transfer QB from FSU has thrown 2 picks.

FWIW....

The new Sagarin ratings through last weekends games now out - now shows the Tribe the 5th rated team in the CAA, just ahead of Elon, Maine and Villanova. Ahead of W&M are JMU, Delaware, Towson and Maine.
