Mm almost all D1 teams have similar deals and 90 per cent of all college athletics are not self sufficient

We cut some sports to put us more in line with what other MAC schools offer after offering more programs for decades than other MAC schools.None of the MAC schools dropped football.

Do you think it's a good thing to have fewer sports? It was one of the few things we could point to to prove that we weren't a run of the mill bottom dwelling fbs athletic department.

Really, what do we have left that shines or separates us? Pretty much nothing. Sue Parks is still doing well with CC and t&f. M golf did okay. Akron has supplanted our m t&f team as the best in a tiny conference. M cc took a terrible drop off.

W swim lost their outstanding coach. I suspect that their successful diving coach will follow as the fallout from cutting sports continues.

While football has improved, we're still struggling to be an average team in a very weak conference.

And we have tremendous alumni and community disinterest.

Volleyball won a championship last season.
