A-State QBs apparently much better in 2nd scrimmage.

Bonner 7-8 for 160 yards and 4 TDs.
Hatcher 7-13 for 53 yards and 1 TD with 47 rushing yards on 7 carries.

Call me a homer but with our receiving core Bonner moves way up as the season progresses. Not to say Bonner is only as good as his receivers will be...

Talking points:

Some key defensive starters(3) were held out, mostly.
Same D stoned the O the week before so you never know when you are playing yourselves.

Kirk Merritt will waste most SBC Defenses.

Logan Bonner got the ball out quick before our talented D-Line could harass him. (He does have a seriously quick release and a good arm.)
