So what does everybody here do for work?

I work for a company that manufactures fiber optic cable enclosures. I cover the Southeast, so I spend a lot of time in hotels. 85 nights so far this year. On the plus side, I never have to pay for a hotel when me and the family go on vacation.

Front End Developer. Basically computer programming for the web with some visual and user experience design thrown in. I wouldn't say it's quite as intensive as software development. Some working in React or full stack development may disagree, though.

Logistics Networking Specialist. Primarily focused on project implementations, advanced solutions, and process efficiency solutions. I go by Bob.

Teacher/coach

I was a photo tech and a certified pharmacy tech. My certification expires next month.

Environmental compliance consulting for an engineering firm.

Credit Analyst with a quasi local community bank. Basically just an underwriter/number cruncher. I interpret the numbers for other people to read and make lending decisions. Love my job actually

I work as a Transition Coordinator for SC School for the Deaf and Blind.

Facilities for a technology company.

Street vendor specializing in hot tamales, tacos, enchiladas, chimichangas, etc. Four carts serving downtown Prichard, AL.

Unified Communications/Network engineer by trade. Currently with Cisco as a Designated Service Manager supporting Premium UC and Webex customers.

I work at the University of Arkansas.

I have been retired for 30 years.

Before that, I worked for Civil Service for 20 years.

I retired 9 years ago after 35 years as a social studies teacher; still adjunct at the local community college.

Licensed Counselor and own sober living homes.

I’ll bite. Graduated for Social Studies, taught for 4 yrs. Now I am a Conductor for the Railroad.
