I got to say, I've been impressed by the workers our engineering and IT college(s) have put out. One of our strong suits, for sure.
Georgia is a very very good place to be in to accidentally fall into IT. Especially since there are way more need than available resources. Plus I doubt many places are even close to us in Logistics and Data Warehousing.

Coming out of college 10 years ago (during the recession), it was tough. But, I'm seeing salaries and open positions explode. I moved to NC to work for Cisco in RTP, but was allowed to work remotely after about a year. If I wanted to deal with the headache of Atlanta, I'm sure I'd never be without a job.

With the ports exploding near Savannah, we expect our Logistics program to continue to grow significantly. I think GS (and it appears State, as well) is well suited to deliver resources to industry prevailing all over the state. We need less Dawgs in leadership positions in Georgia...time for new blood.

I work for a company that manufactures fiber optic cable enclosures. I cover the Southeast, so I spend a lot of time in hotels. 85 nights so far this year. On the plus side, I never have to pay for a hotel when me and the family go on vacation.

Normally, if given the choice between doing something and nothing, I'd choose to do nothing. But I will do something if it helps someone else do nothing. I'd work all night, if it meant nothing got done

Did a touch of amateur drag racing in my day. Enjoyed it. Wasn't particularly good at it.

I'm curious how many former and current musicians are on the board.

Three fastest ways to find a lawyer.
1. Go to a sports discussion online
2. Go to a religion discussion online.
3. Get in a car wreck and check your mailbox.

Is there much money in cat swinging? Seems like an inefficient way to find attorneys. We try to watch out for ambulances putting it in reverse. Yes, there are lots of us on sports websites. Seems like a little intellectual roughage is just the thing to help clear the mind. :0)
