Most G5 athletes are poorly vetted by the rating services and the stars are driven often by the offers they receive. This is not an attempt to discount anything about the UL recruiting class because it looks like they are getting a great class! My question is: Because of the LSU success (and receive UL success as well), is it possible that the services are paying more attention to the region and recruits in Louisiana and therefore the players are getting more legitimate ratings?

Whether UL is getting significantly better recruits or whether those recruits are being evaluated better (UL already as great athletes), the future looks bright for the Cajuns. I see more great games for the SBC in the future!

The state of Louisiana is genarally a better ( compared than other states) evaluated state in term of accuracy within the top 100 due to the history of talent that goes on to play high level FBS ball. UL in the past has gotten very very few of said top 100, until coach Napier arrived. the early signing period also has been a game changer for our program.

That makes sense. I do believe the early signing period has benefited App as well. Congrats on a great class!
