RE: UC MBB Releases OOC Schedule
It's a good OOC schedule. At least I thought so until I read all the troll posts, lol.
Four solid games, for sure, and several more close to it. Only one real stinker. I hope our OOC is as good.

Our other 3 buy games would be marquee games on your schedule.

Man, you beat down Cincy in basketball and their fans get so mad and hold a grunge. Nasty nasty folks.
Is my post a lie ?
No.. 3 of our buy games would be 3 of your marquee games.
Just speaking truths out here bruh.

East Carolina is the Fredo Corleone of this conference.

So apparently you can only give so many rep points in a day for ECU smack talk. This is definitely a flawed system.

God, you're right! We should have scheduled a "quality" slate of opponents like this:
-VMI
-Navy
-Appalachian State
-Liberty
-Evansville
-George Washington or UMKC (assuming you aren't eliminated)
-Liberty, UM Milwaukee, or Rice (again assuming you're still there...)
-James Madison
-Coppin State
-Campbell
- Maryland- Eastern Shore
-Charlotte
-Eastern Kentucky
Go away, ECU... You've got no room or right to talk smack about scheduling.

RE: UC MBB Releases OOC Schedule
Really, really good schedule. Now the hard part, winning them.
This schedule has a lot more middle to it than the past several Cincy schedules, which all had 2-4 really good games and then a bunch of straight trash. Should really help Cincy build a resume, and allows them to still be an at-large if they don't do great against the top end.

By-the-way... If the stars line up right, the might ECU Pie-rats will face off against:
Camels (Campbell)
And
Kangaroos (UMKC)
Intimidating.

Anyone else notice that UC can also (potentially) get a shot at BOTH programs (Nevada and Iowa) that knocked us out of the Big Dance the past two seasons?

Nobody forced UCONN to leave. Their administration put the nuts in nutmegs.

Missed my opportunity on the previous post. I should have said "in before ECU fans bring up that they once beat UC in basketball".
From the UC perspective, no one cares about that game. It is about conference championships and performance in March (which we haven't been great at).
Why we dislike ECU, is because it is embarrassing to be in the same conference as you. Every other school in the AAC has history or a name that has some cache. ECU doesn't. What ECU has is a campus in the middle of no where, under performing sports, declining football attendance, and god awful branding/color scheme. ECU from most fans perspective is the equivalent of Bowling Green, and shouldn't be anywhere near a conference with P6 aspirations.
There is a reason you were left behind.
You're with your peers and that includes ECU.

Memphis, Houston, UCF (Orlando), USF (Tampa), Temple (Philadelphia), SMU (Dallas), and to a lesser extent Tulane (New Orleans) are peers.
"East" Carolina and their lack of a city, airport, cell service, and competitive sports is not a peer with anyone in this conference.

Yet here you are in the same conference, again. Buckle up buttercup, you're home now.
