You always hope these things aren't true...not good at all.

It's one thing to let your team down, but Griffin also apparently has a son whose dad will now probably be in jail for who knows how long. And it's not some impulsive act where he got angry in a verbal altercation, it was very much premeditated. How hard is it to not be a violent delinquent?

How old is his son? What was the status of the relationship between him and the mother? Jealousy drives people, especially those who lack impulse control, to do ridiculous things like drag someone out of bed and threaten to kill them.

Yep, it's pretty sad all the way around. He goes from an opportunity for a free college education and all the positives that the future could hold for him that come with that to a potentially long jail stay, a felony record, and the loss of that free education.
