Based on what? Still wayyy too many seats available

That's what I'm seeing too. Going to need 7k-8k sold between now and game time and I don't think we're going to get that from walkup crowd alone though the weather is looking perfect.

How about a spring game at Welcome Stadium? An entire evening of engagement activities around that--food trucks from Cincy and Dayton; tasting competition from each city's best microbreweries? Player visits to Dayton Children's Hospital? A free football day clinic for kids from Dayton Public Schools?

Turn 40,000 seats into a competitive advantage. We only need a few thousand folks to be full every night. I don't think Duke regrets having 9,314 seats for basketball because it's always full beyond capacity. UC Athletics shouldn't stop pushing until Nippert becomes the toughest ticket in town. We're closer than ever. But it remains a job that needs to get done.

We'll never have the largest stadium among schools that aspire to be P5, but we can have the most historic, most beautiful campus venue with the highest percentage of seats sold among all the contenders. TV loves that. I can think of at least two P5 conferences that would value that passionate fanbase too.

This is a great idea! Have a Reds Caravan-type series of events throughout the Tri-State and even into other Ohio cities like Columbus and Cleveland for alumni to attend. Bring The Bearcat, have some fun events and some free Bearcats swag and you'll get kids asking their parents to come to some UC events. It really can't hurt to give something like this a try.

UC is struggling getting tickets out to paying customers. Once again they let football season sneak up on them. lol
