Wisconsin and Alabama schedule home-and-home series for 2024-25
Quote:"We're happy to have added another quality non-conference opponent for a home-and-home series in Wisconsin," said Alabama director of athletics Greg Byrne in a release. "Traveling to Camp Randall, one of the nation's oldest stadiums, will make for a great road contest early in the 2024 season. Having them return the trip in 2025 to Bryant-Denny Stadium will also certainly provide a boost to our home slate, and we look forward to the opportunity."
The first game will take place in Madison, Wis., on Sept. 14, 2024, with Wisconsin returning the trip to Tuscaloosa on Sept. 13, 2025.

The LSU-Wisconsin series may have started to open the floodgates. Northwestern and Vanderbilt have played several times recently, as well as Missouri with schools like Indiana and Illinois. PSU and Auburn will start a series in years ahead. I'm waiting to see if this starts a trend where old barriers between conferences fall and a plethora of games between them start up, like when the PAC and Big Ten scheduled a bunch of games between them in the past decade.
From my program's perspective, I would to schedule the following from the SEC:
Arkansas
South Carolina
Florida
Mississippi
Vanderbilt
Kentucky
LSU
LSU should be doable, as those fans are more open to travel outside the region. But South Carolina would be more likely as its in the same time zone.

The Wisconsin-LSU game at Lambeau field was great. I have a ton of respect for LSU and the non conference games they schedule. Plus, the amount of fans that traveled to Green bay with LSU was great!
Well done, Wisconsin! This will be a great series!
