I know it wasn't meant as a slight since there were very few mid majors on the honorable mention list, but anytime unproven freshmen are listed in the top 25 over battle tested seniors, it pisses me off.

Yeah, I considered the source, since Katz, also, left Nathan off his Top 25 frontrunners for the 2020 Jabbar Award, despite Nate finishing in the top 5 for 2019. Katz is only catering to P5 fan attention.

Granted it's just a short workout video, but Nate appears more mobile, more durable, with even more game. If he keeps the foul situation a non-issue, then he should be a huge draw for attendance this year. He will, arguably, be as talented a player as the Tribe has ever had. A lot to look forward to with Nate alone this year.

Andy Katz names Nathan Knight one of 21 most entertaining players for this upcoming season:

Deserved by Nate, but hard for Katz to save face for leaving Nate off his Top 20 Jabbar Award watch list.

FWIW, College Sports Madness lists Charleston at #90 (CAA #1), Northeastern #94 (CAA #2), and Hofstra #129 (CAA #3.) Only other opponent on the list, so far, is ODU at #93 (CUSA #4.)

Got an e-mail from Mike McCarney yesterday regarding MBB season ticket renewals. It appears prices have gone up.

Plus, if there are that many road games in the OOC, as Billymac states, then less total home games for that increased ticket price.

I wonder when they plan to give the "big announcement in the fall" that was leaked out during the AD Q&A. If it includes some needed upgrades, Id understand bumping fees. New Students arrive Friday.

RE: 2019-2020 MBB Season
I hear we have 12 home games, as opposed to 14 or so last season. Mainly due to several home & home deals that have us on the road this
year with returns and added games next year. No Div II or III home game this season according to recent info.

I hope that is not one of 12 home games. With 9 conference games and 1 D3 game, that would leave only 2 OCC D1 home games. Here's hoping that there is a pleasant surprise somewhere in the mbb schedule. I like having games with both Hampton & ODU at home, but had hoped for a couple more D1's @ home...

Washington Mystics game against the LA Sparks at the DC Entertainment and Sports Arena is currently on ESPN2, if anyone wants to get a look at the arena for the CAA Tourney and our game against St. Francis.

I thought it was interesting that if Wight could take a skill from anyone on the team he wanted Thornton Scott’s jump shot. Maybe we’ll see more of Scott’s shot this year; he was a pretty good shooter in high school:
