I thought it was interesting that if Wight could take a skill from anyone on the team he wanted Thornton Scott’s jump shot. Maybe we’ll see more of Scott’s shot this year; he was a pretty good shooter in high school:

Gees he looks so young compared to Nate and skinny, LOL. Deffinatelly needs the weight room and the right diet.

Well, he just turned 18, so, young for his class, and promising for the quick development physically and skillwise we should see. With that deep voice.....

Spotted at the Lafayette game... the entire men's basketball team, sitting together. Near the end of the 1st half, they were joined by none other than Justin Pierce, who was warmly greeted by the entire team. It seemed clear that they hadn't seen him in quite a while. Freshmen were introduced to JP.

Pierce was sitting with his gf a couple rows in front of me early in the game, until (apparently) they left to go hang out with the team. He talked with Coach Boatner for a little while when Boatner saw him while walking by. Glad to see there's no hard feelings there.

RE: 2019-2020 MBB Season
Saw Justin and his girlfriend, sitting a few roes in front of us.
Also watched Nate give me heart failure as he portrayed the "world's tallest tight end", during the pre-game.
I kept whispering "don't twist an ankle, don't pull a rib muscle, don't hurt your shoulder..."
Actually, Nate made a couple nice grabs, with good extension.

Knight threw a 50 yard bomb right handed also. I guess he's amphibious. I mean ambiguous.

New look for Jihar, much better haircut for Thornton. Could this presage more output on the court?

With Jihar’s new look, he looks an awful lot like Jalen Rose :).

Love those three pointers from Nate and Van Vliet. The latter can really hit them from all over.
