I love it!

What if we also tried poaching some of their AAC games? They’re scheduled for UCF, USF, Houston, ECU, Tulane...wouldn’t hurt to try grabbing some of those & upping our profile!

We’d have to pay out opponents for those weeks, but we’d also get a good payday to play those schools

A 2-1 with UConn is interesting. There is room for a LU home game in 2020 and 2021 by dropping FCS teams. Scheduling an away game is difficult because it means having a 5-7 home/road type season in the near future. Maybe try and push out an existing team to later years?

There wouldn't be any AAC games to poach. They will just play other members of the conference.

I get the 2/1 business sense. But I never really liked the concept. I prefer a nice even exchange. You play at our house once and we’ll come play at your house once. The exception would be for bought victories (FCS, Sun Belt {just kidding}) or a big game we’d do anything for (ND, Michigan, USC, Texas, etc.). I think it builds better partnerships and develops a good reputation for LU.

Mostly, I hope we can get a couple basketball games out of it for both men and women.
