There's actually an intellectual argument to be made for reparations for blacks. It's not a convincing argument, but at least it's logically consistent: blacks deserve reparations because the money that they should have inherited from their great great grandparents was stolen by slaveholders and Jim Crow. You could make the same argument for Indians. It's leaving out the convenient fact that most people don't inherit any money at all (even among millionaires, only 21% inherited anything), but at least it's a consistent argument.

But homosexuals aren't missing out on any inheritance. Their parents were overwhelmingly heterosexual and not subject to any discrimination.

How would they inherent money that likely didn't exist?

Bingo. I love getting my tax breaks for being married and having two children just as much as any other father, but I am not naive enough to think that because my life conditions I should have to contribute less than someone making the same salary. Now just as any corporation would do I will take advantage as the law is written, but I would not be opposed to changing it.

The tax breaks are for having kids, not for being married. And those tax breaks are nowhere near the cost of raising kids, even for poor people.

If you don't have kids, most people get penalized by the tax code for being married. Whether you get a break or a bonus for being married depends on the level of income you and your spouse have.

I would not do that, but I would do this for families of people with disabilities who the US government done medical experiments on in the early 1900s.

To me that's just a MEH situation. Those people will vote for Demons anyway you see it. So it's not like the Republicans will lose that segment of voters. I couldn't care less what Pocahontas says about the subject there is no way that it would pass Congress that's just her way of pleasing that part of society and getting votes...for her in the primary.
