No, they don’t.

People are acting like the MWC schools are dying to be invited - they aren’t.

It’s a lateral move for them at best and they would be leaving generations worth of rivals, in some cases, to take the spot of a school leaving us to go home lay the likes of Seton Hall.

Army, USM, or perhaps Liberty are probably are best choices.

I hope your people are doing work. I'd trade Connecticut for southern miss in a New York minute. I'm just sad we didn't kick their half ass program out.

I agree.

USM is in a small town that is not easily gotten to. Sorry USM but no.

Theres this thing called an airplane. Theres a place called an airport, that lets airplanes fly in. Theres a local airport for Hattiesburg

That local airport offers almost no service relevant to the discussion. It's a fair point.
But coming to Hattiesburg still makes more sense than going to Boise or San Diego.

Yes, it has jet service. Daily flights to Chicago and Dallas.
So, not a lot of options.

Serious question 2

Does anyone from Mountain Time Zone really want to fly 1700 miles? And will fan bases on either end of that trip care?

Ok that's actually 2 questions...

I know the geography part sucks donkey balls but those two programs will definitely not disappoint tv ratings.

UAB, ODU or SMTTT are the only 3 that should be discussed. If Georgia Southern was a little further on in their FBS journey, I'd say give them a look, but their basketball facility is horrid. Football and baseball both have nice facilities, but they have a little ways to go, before ever being considered for such a jump.

Exactly. Stick to the Eastern and Central time zones, please?

If the AAC is getting the same money with UConn leaving, unless ESPIN wants to pay for the additional school, none.

Will ESPN be okay with losing content?

We will have to see, but it has been mentioned in some posts that the contract won't be changing.

Well, "contract won't be changing" could mean that the $ amount stays the same. But the contract might also call for a certain amount of game content.

If that's the case, well, come on down, Golden Eagles! (Seriously, let's right this wrong.)

For laughs, offer Villanova an all sports spot and watch heads explode

I'd be in favor of that if and only if they finally build an AAC-worthy stadium.
