No one else even comes close to meeting those requirements. Marshall attendance is down due to apathy of playing the current CUSA teams. We consistently averaged around 27-28k in football before realignment and no doubt we would average that again if we were in the AAC.

ODU football had terrible weather and a bad season and we were still at like 95% of our capacity. ODU basketball will be at least 7k after our conference championship this past year

LOL...my high school is at around 95% capacity as well. Doesn't mean squat considering they average about 2,000/game.

We average more than your stadium even holds. You could sell out every game and still not average as much as Marshall during one of our bad years.

That’s true we could sell out every game and not average what you’re averaging with our stadium capacity. Could we average what you’re averaging with a bigger stadium? Don’t know. But what I do know is that you couldn’t have done what we did and sell out every game of our 20k stadium for the last 10 years. You’ve had games south of that number bunches of times. We’re building a bigger stadium, what are you guys doing?

There are 129 schools that can apply as they are all better than UConn in football
