We knew who Trump was in 2016, and we still elected him President.

Trump has been pretty open about his opinion on what he's allowed to do to women. He's twice divorced and unapologetic about it. After his second divorce he dated a "model" who used Trump's private airplane for a nude photoshoot.

Maybe if she had come forward at the time, Trump would have been punished for it and never would have become President. Or perhaps it would have worked if she had come forward in 2015 after Trump won a few primaries. But to wait 23 years and announced it in a self-aggrandizing magazine spread? That's not "brave" or "powerful." It is cowardly.

She’s also trying to sell her new book from which this is an excerpt, as well as numerous other allegations of similar actions against her from other men.

Sounds like someone exercising hope in the combination of our capitalism and the Me Too movement. Best of luck to her. Her story sounds less believable than that Blassey Ford chick.
