Season Ticket Sales
Cuse just crossed over to 7000 new season ticket holders in 2019. Re-Up rates are in the mid-90ś of existing STH´ers. I expect they might have 10,000 new STHers. Going to feel like the 1990´s again.

I believe only Texas might be comparable. Any other programs having a surge this year? How many has UCF added?

That's great news for Syracuse football. I suspect, however, that if last year's 10-win season isn't repeated, that number could slump again. For some reason, Syracuse backers are much more fickle about football as compared to basketball, which gets unconditional support.

That should be easy though, given that Notre Dame isn't on the schedule, and the Syracuse AD lined up an OOC Murderer's Row of ... Liberty, Holy Cross, Western Michigan, and Maryland (!!!).

South Carolina's are up 17% from 2018. No total number is given though.

I suspect a significant reason for the increase is because of home games against Alabama, Florida, and Clemson.

I have always been impressed with the way USCe fans support their programs. USCe hasnt been very successful on the court or the gridiron but one wouldn't know it with their great attendance. Imagine their attendance if the university would become consistently good. A lot of programs, including SU could learn a thing or two from their fan participation.

That is an awesome schedule...that really helps. Clemson is helping to drive Cuse´s sales too. Fans are hoping for some magic again.

As Quo stated: our fans are fickle. If they slump this year many of the new fans will leave. But I think we see 8+ wins this year and hopeful most will stick around.

I don't know about that QUO.. SU bb has had the benefit of having almost 50 straight seasons with a winning record. I've seen SU's attendance dip by a thousand when the team fails to win 20 games in a season When you are averaging 23 or 24 thousand in attendance, no one notices when you lose a thousand. If SU goes a 2 or 3 seasons with a losing record Im sure SU's attendance would dip a couple thousand at least. Especially if the football team stays relevant.

In this case the schedule really is helping us out

Overall, the attendance has mostly been great as long as I’ve been going to games, even during the supposed decline nationwide the last ten years. With only a few exceptions SC will have 70k plus butts in seats for a home game. If we could just win a few big games it will get over 80k

UCF had only 200 total season tickets left, per Dennis Dodd roughly a week or so ago.

I think that equates to just under 30,000 tickets. Maybe 28.5k.

That counts students, right? Isn't that like 15K?

RE: Season Ticket Sales
Syracuse is driving towards 10,000 new season tickets from last year. Heard a report they are still selling strong through the quiet 6 weeks around 4th of July. They should be able to make it (10,000) without too many issues. The Dome should look at bit fuller next year. I think our average crowd will be about 44K which is great for Syracuse (a basketball town).
