Can we go ahead and add them to the A-Sun forum, or do we have to wait till next June?

Welcome aboard Bellarmine Knights!

I'm fine with going ahead. Do they have fans on here?

The only place I found Bellarmine talk is here. But I haven’t been approved to post there.

RE: BELLARMINE
I watched the announcement on ESPN+ and it was a great presentation. It is still available for viewing there and on Youtube.
During the Q&A portion a reporter brought up football. The new President didn’t seem very receptive to the idea. I got the impression she’s not a fan.
I’d imagine it’ll be 10-15 years before Bellarmine makes another move regarding football.

RE: BELLARMINE
One thing about Bellarmine. It is completely landlocked by residential neighborhood and city park. Expansion would need to be up, rather than out. It is a very nice little campus though.

Whoever goes to Louisville for a sporting event let me know. I’ll give you the best places to eat and some neat things to see while you are in town.

Hopefully moving up is their spark to doubling their enrollment. They will be one of the smallest Division I schools. Expand campus to a second location if possible.

Looks like Bellarmine is the smallest ASUN school in terms of enrollment but not by much. Approximately 3,973 students. Jacksonville U, Lipscomb, and Stetson are in the 4,000 range.
Hopefully Bellarmine can add about 500 students at the very least.

The four show undergrads under 3,000 with Jacksonville and Bellarmine under 1,000 males. Those are the most likely future donors and having such a small number really handicaps future potential.

I can’t find the article that said it but current enrollment is around 3700 and they are going to try to add 250-300 new students over the next few years. The target is 4,000.

I saw that too. Y’all don’t realize how small that campus is..... or maybe I don’t realize how small most campuses are. A lot of thise kids must be hometown folk and commuting. I wonder what on campus enrollment is?

Any way you’d be able to add a Bellarmine team talk link?
