I'll be in attendance with two friends who live in the area. Klöckner Stadium is a great venue so excited to be back.

I enjoyed watching that game a great deal. Virginia was on our side of the field for most of the game, but JMU had some excellent opportunities to score. I agree that the game winning shot for UVa was amazing.

As I'm getting older, I'm enjoying watching soccer more and more, especially since I don't get bombarded with advertising outside of halftime. Those guys and gals are incredible athletes. It's great to see JMU doing so well, and there's no shame in losing 1-0 against the #1 team in the country on their field.

This is the first time in a long time that I can remember JMU being outplayed the whole game, and it was against the #1 team in the country. While I wished we would have gotten a point out of that game, I think we showed well. UVA has a legit chance to win the championship this year, and we matched up strong. Back to conference play, and hopefully our winning ways with it.

This is a great point. Also, the pretty locked-in "just under 2 hours" run time is so much more enjoyable the older I get. JMU football is the only item in the longer-gametime team sports that I really block off time to watch the entire game for anymore unless it's the postseason. Actually one of the things that's made me enjoy the Softball success and product so much more too. Conversely, college baseball is interminable with 9 innings of metal bats.

I got into soccer because my roommate after college played a lot of FIFA. Then I started watching premiere league. Then I started playing indoor at a local spot. Soccer is by far the most interesting to watch on tv. NFL and MLB are soooo slow. I like college football a lot still too and obviously the sporting event I travel to the most is JMU Football. I actually think soccer in person (at least MLS games I've been to) are almost a little more boring than on the telecast.
