So not only is the SEC undervalued, but Notre Dame is as well.

Of course, I'm still wondering about the potential for CBS to expand their package and assuming that would have to be through expansion.

Drum roll please......or, you could add schools which increases inventory for CBS without taking it away from ESPN, and in fact adding it for ESPN which will permit a renegotiation on that revenue as well. In the world of streaming not only will content matter, but inventory will become the leverage for negotiation and depth of inventory the revenue driver.

Whatever the league decides to do (if anything) with scheduling next year will be a major factor in this

We talked about it before, but CBS could assume the role that FOX currently plays in paying for a portion of the rights of "current" Big 12 schools.

I say "current" because all you have to do is move the core of them into another conference...the SEC...and then ESPN has gained greater control over properties they want while splitting a significant portion of the cost with a partner in CBS.

Neither CBS nor ESPN has to pay as much for the lesser properties of the current Big 12. Everybody wins.

And if CBS is paying a premium then sure, put some content on CBSSN or an online platform. Not everything can be on ESPN anyway.
