Pullman area is God's country that area is gorgeous not to mention the school is pumping in the money to boost the baseball program! Wonder if the NMSU scheduling plan will sit well in the Pac-12?

Luckily for New Mexico State, our AD was a former Aggie baseball player and will make a good replacement hire.

So that loss to Sac State in the WACT and flaming out as the 1 seed was the final straw for him, eh?

NMSU will be fine. Solid program that should be able to land an attractive candidate.

The PAC-12 is raiding the WAC for baseball coaches. I guess that is a sign of respect for the league.

I prefer less respect if it means we can still have under-the-radar damn good baseball. Haha

Any WAC coach would leave if they are offered a deal worth $1.575 million over the next five years.

Grand Canyon and New Mexico State both had really good coaches. It is only a matter of time before the P-5 conferences come calling.

I agree, I've heard Christiansen has been offered in the past (not sure by who) and that is why he is signed thru 2024 and pulling in over $150k (plus benefits) a year. I figure its only a matter of time until his dream job becomes available and he is hired away from Sac.

43. Christiansen just finished his 9th season as HC.
