If the highlights are a true indicator, not bashful about driving to the basket:

I didn’t like the firing of Tony. I liked the hire of Dane. I didn’t like the transfers and decommit.
But, today, Nathan comes back, and an experienced driving PG transfer is brought in. Can’t help but think that this could be an interesting season ahead. Won’t Nathan love playing with that kind of PG?
There is some irony re: the players that left. It allowed Dane to do his makeover in a quicker fashion without running guys off the team. It allowed Dane to address present and future issues. Dane may be able to install his offensive and defensive schemes fairly quickly. Last year’s chemistry issues may disappear. The players that left may soon be forgotten.
Dane is going to be bringing in a different type of player than Tony did. That’s fine.
And kudos to the AD on all the PR stuff that was done today.
Next year may not yield great results, but it is anticipated again, and that’s a good thing.
Given all that has transpired, and the options available, I like this PG pick-up. IMO, Dane has contained the AD’s dumpster fire, and here’s hoping that it goes out soon.
The treatment of Tony Shaver and his staff remains an open wound.
