Seahawk RHP Justin Crump just went to the Giants in Round 30 (# 896). Congrats Justin!

Crump is the 3rd UNCW player drafted so far in 2019.

Winston Salem State had a player picked in the 25th round today. Its program has been shut down. The CIAA quit sponsoring baseball and the administration said it was too difficult to schedule as an independent.

Just had a chance to check out Rounds 31-40.

New Hanover HS Catcher Kyle Smith went in Round 36 (# 1082) to the Diamondbacks.

Cole Weiss went in Round 37 (# 1106) to the Giants. Based on what we know, he's gone, sadly.

It doesn't appear any of our incoming 2019 freshmen were drafted.

Also, mullet will be happy to hear that 5 players were taken from Pepperdine. The first came off the board in the 14th round (LHP Easton Lucas).
