MyBB What Happened with the CAA 3x3 Championship Team?
When they won, it was announced that they were eligible to compete in USA basketball's 3x3 national championship, held in Las Vegas earlier this month. But it sure doesn't look like they participated.

What's the word?

I don’t know if any of them actually have, but would signing with an agency for professional basketball derail their eligibility?

Don't have a clue. I wonder if the new beat writer for the Star News checks these boards out? Perhaps this is something a reporter might consider reporting on....

I hope the new SN beat writer movie is better than the trailer.

USA Basketball's 3x3 National Championship was just bad timing for them. All 4 of those guys will be playing professionally next year, and need to focus on Pre-Draft Workouts, meeting with teams, signing an agent. I don't know about Cacok but JWF has worked out for the Sixers, Celtics, and Pacers that I know of. I'd imagine Brantley will get some NBA looks as well. Pusica will make a boat load of money overseas. While the 3x3 Final Four Tournament was cool, it makes sense to why they didn't compete in the USA basketball championships. They all have bigger fish to fry.

It does make sense, and all the more reason for whoever organizes that tournament to move it to a more suitable date in the future to allow the 3x3 champion a better chance to compete.
