C-USA is taking credit for Randy Moss. I kind of thought he played in the MAC.

C-USA, no way. The reality is he played two college seasons, one in FCS and one in the MAC, so even the MAC could only take partial credit.

One thing is certain. Marshall can take full credit for Randy Moss.

It is in any event a better deal than having those same games on BeIN Sports. They are also going to go for MWC for a 7pm Saturday game.

Actually, wouldn't mind having some MAC games on at noon on the NFL network for a triple header, but Disney/ESPN might say no.

the MWC tv deal is up for renegotiation...I would expect NFL Network to try and reach a similar agreement with them.

I have NO idea what the relationship between ESPN and the NFL Network is.

IF it is good, anything to fill up 'empty live time' is a good thing.

Its always nice to add some linear games but at this point you might as well trade the exposure for $$$ and go all streaming. Fully control your start times.

If I follow you, D.C. United (MLS soccer) tried that and it has been a big failure, as best I can tell.

They gave up local TV for subscription streaming and there were problems galore.

RE: CUSA signs deal with NFL Network
streaming is not bringing in any real money for MAC teams.

the question is national exposure vs local exposure and fan friendly gamedays/times

I dont think going all streaming is a starter for a while.

If a couple P5 conferences can buy into it in a significant way that will get the ball rolling.
