2019 Men's Hoops Where We Are Late April
Wooden asked, here is our offer data base (if I missed someone please add):

Daniel Ramsey 6'8 GA dropped EMU out of consideration
Harold Beverly 6'4 MI-committed elsewhere
Julian Dozier, Jr. 5'9 MI
Drew Lowder 5'11 MI-Holy Cross
Taiwan Williams 5'6 MI
T.J. Bickerstaff 6'8 GA-Drexel
Tray Jackson 6'7 KS-prep school-Missouri
Jason Euback 6'4 PA
Charles Manning Jr. 6'5 JUCO-Florida SW St-LSU
Sam Baker 6-4 JUCO NW Florida St-Committed elsewhere
A.J. Bramah 6'7 JUCO Sheridan (Wy)-removed us from consideration Committee elsewhere
Kasean Pryor 6'8 Ann Arbor Pioneer
Steve Wooten 6'5 JUCO Mineral College-committed elsewhere
Thomas Binelli 6'8 Monroe CC-committed
Josh Hall 6'6 prep school
Trey Wade 6'7 JUCO South Plains College-committed elsewhere
Jeremy Carter-Sheppard 6'1 JUCO College of Central Florida-Committed elsewhere
Yeikson Montero 6'5 JUCO Pensacola State College-committed
Micah Thomas 6'7 JUCO)-Tyler TX committed
Shamar Dillard 6'6 Spire Post Grad prep school-committed
Isiah Small 6'6 JUCO Seward-removed US from consideration
Khayl Waters 6'6 JUCO Georgia Highlands-committed elsewhere
Derrick Cook 6'4 JUCO Georgia Highlands-committed elsewhere
Miles Gibson 6'7 JUCO Northwest Kansas Technical College-committed
Trent Brown 6'1 Phoenix AZ-committed elsewhere
Noah's Morgan 6'5 NW Florida JUCO committed
Otis Frazier III 6'5 Arizona

Montero and Dillard are confirmed signings. Gibson, Thomas, Morgan and Binelli are verbals and we have no confirmation yet they have signed at least public confirmation. Waters has us in the top 3 but when Gibson announced he open up his recruitment to all D1 schools which tells me he wanted to go to EMU. How that impacts Cook's decision will be interesting as he also has EMU in his top 3. Cook at PG is a key position and the staff is scrambling to find PG candidates. Gibson and Montero are nice adds as both had multiple D1 offers. Got many holes on this team to fill.

EMU Hoops is posting about Micah Thomas as "one of our newest Eagles," so I assume he has signed.

RE: 2019 Men's Hoops Where We Are Late April
IF Micah Thomas really signed, and he stays healthy this team can surprise some teams! He would've been the best player on this past years team! As long as we get a true PG, and not another Paul Jackson we'll be better then 15-17! He's a big time talent Micah Thomas! 4 star recruit out of high school! Maybe, Murphy will actually run a offense now that it appears we've have some shooters!

Football does a great job of letting everyone know who has visited, who has been offered, and who has signed via Twitter. They seem to do this by setting the recruit up with the pics and graphics to Tweet it themselves.

Basketball needs to get on board with this. Hard to build any energy and enthusiasm in the fanbase everything is so secretive.

I totally agree!!!!! I still haven't seen the Micah Thomas report! This should be a big deal, this is 17-20 PPG type of player!

Maybe the new coach will.

The guy is subpar in just about every way. I’d almost feel sorry for him if he hadn’t been stealing money for the better part of a decade...

Ramy EMU, A 4 star recruit out of high school who played at Huntington Prep which is a division 1 factory! Went to U of Maryland for 1 year then transferred to A JUCO! Had all P5 offers out of school, all big D1 schools! If he stays healthy he should do very well in the MAC! Big time talent! But, he needs to sign A LOI

11 by my count going by the verbal commits website? (http://www.verbalcommits.com/schools/eastern-michigan) or are you just talking scholarship players because Peterson and Ballard are walk-ons/

Toure, Morgan, Montero, Thomas, Gibson, Groce, Binelli, King, Peterson, Ballard, Dillard.

Crazy that Toure will be our only Senior. 7 Juniors (Morgan, Montero, Thomas, Gibson, Groce, Binelli, King. 2 Sophmores in Peterson and Ballard and then Dillard as a Frosh.

No disrespect to our walk-ons, but when counting numbers, etc. for MBB we usually ignore walk-ons because they don't utilize a scholarship and they are really there as practice players.

They are not preferred walk-ons such as in FB where they hope to get into the 2-deeps and earn an athletic scholarship.

I haven't mentioned Peterson or Ballad nor do I count in my scholarship number. I believe we could now to four scholarships.

If those two kids stay when all the others left I say reward them with a scholarship, even if they split one between the two of them.

Can't split scholarships in FB, MBB and WBB.
