Trying to figure out how LSU and Minnesota are easier non-con opponents than Tennessee and Army

IIRC Army won 10 games last year and took OU to overtime in Norman and slaughtered UH. That's pretty impressive to anyone.

I'm fine with the list. In reality we all have no idea how our OOC games will go so only after all the games are played can we know who really had the hardest path to play.

You recall correctly. Army is a great program. Depending on who you ask, either Minnesota or Army will be in the preseason Top 25 but not both. My gripe is with the LSU/Tenn comparison. LSU will be a top 10 team this year. Tennessee...well..

"Mountaineers have struggled against programs outside the conference particularly in the Power 5."

Huh?

Since 2015:

OOC G5 record - 9-1
FCS 3-0

Come within the last drive or taken to OT Penn State, UTk, and Wake.

Blowout losses were to CFB playoff participants UGA and Clemson, and a top 25 Miami team.

I think GA St. may get the nod over GS due to WMU vs. NMSU game.

That is nuts that Aggie hasn't lost in OOC at home since 2008. Then again they usually schedule weak until recently.

They (barely) lost to Clemson last year.

They've had some close calls against ULM and UTSA. Maybe it's our time to shine. 02-13-banana
