I agree. Also becoming one of my all-time favorites.

He has always had a great attitude. It's nice to see a guy like that develop into a team leader. His attitude is a lot like SK.
So he is practicing with the team. I don't understand how this works. I know at some point the team can't formally practice anymore until October. Is that period now and Coach Brannen only gets to practice with the team because he is new or can any team practice right now and when is the cut off period when they can't? I'm confused as to how all this works.

Rules have been updated to allow off season practices. I am not sure what exactly they are. It's also why players don't play summer league any more; the coaches prefer the structure of the off season practices.

If you go to the transfer portal, the rule are kind of interesting. The way i read it, you basically are entering a clearinghouse declaring yourself available, but by doing that you basically are relinquishing your scholarship where you are at. Thus, if you do not sign with another team, the school who you were under scholly with at the time has no more obligation to you. Realistically if they want to keep you they would likely not pull your scholly, but they can. It's gotten more tricky with this allowance to work with agent, but pull that back before the draft. You're not likely going to know until late May if guys are coming back or not. Makes roster management more difficult. My guess is if you're in school when the transfer process occurs, you are under scholly until the end of that quarter, and i would think you would need to complete it to get credit. I'd guess you can work out with the team, etc, but you would kind of think if someone was leaving they would probably wrap that part up. I'd take it as a good sign he's with the team.
