Don't those schools also have marching bands?

RE: OTOD
Yea, they didn’t break down the marching band numbers. President Daniels highlighted the band numbers in his letter to the Purdue community.

Like I said, for what it’s worth.

Just like you can't count Tony Shaver's losses on the road or to high-major opponents in his overall record, I don't see how you can compare WM's fundraising figures to any school that has a marching band.

Got it ... numbers can be manipulated and mean nothing.

Maybe we should just eliminate the economics department and business school.

I think your first sentence above will need to be remembered when the AD finally does get around to publishing basketball statistics from OTOD. She has certainly had more than enough time to "cook the books" to present numbers to back any spin that she wants to make.

And enrollments of 66,000 and 31,000 and 67,000 vs 6500?

Quite a drop from last year. I suppose if W&M athletics wins a few national championships this year it will have been worth it.

Down 28%

Do you realize how significant that is? My word.

Men's BB pulled in less money than Swimming and Women's Field Hockey.

I think a message was sent. The Tribe has Spoken.

Well a total gift of $18,145 on OTOD from 139 donors being down 28% is not really significant real money. Let us focus on the positive signings Dane has made and the progress over the last month! Time to move on.......

Oh, it's time to move on again? This bit of data was deliberately omitted from the announcement because it's a serious issue and Huge wanted that fact buried. Swimming beat out mbb? WTF?

June 18th can't get here fast enough.

Of course you would not include in a PR announcement where you failed for obvious reasons- no surprise. I have no doubt that all the key decision makers know people are not happy about how Shaver was released. The good news is if Dane gets us into the NCAA you can no longer credit Shaver! Enjoy your moment on 6/18.
