I do like that he seems to credit all his accomplishments to his teammates and Coach Fickell. Dude is hungry and humble.

Hopefully he won’t need to run for 1300 this year. Let’s have 4 guys run for 3500.

Dude, you got that right. No joke. We have multiple backs that can push upwards to 1,000 yards each. Part of running the rock is an attitude. Yes, you need talent [and we have it four fold] but give me an offensive line and backs that want to hit somebody in the mouth all day long. Dudes that get off on blocking. A coaching staff that can teach and scheme for the run. What is so exciting, and what we saw last year, is we keep coming at you. Eventually, a long run breaks out. To use boxing as an analogy, lots of jabs and body blows with the occasional head-snapping-back punch. Is it football season yet?

Dan - I realize you may not be able to answer this (or may not see my comment at all), but I'm curious why some of your stories get posted on gobearcats.com while others are on this wordpress site?

Is it possible for other outlets (Enquirer, BCJ, CBSSports - hell, even OhVarsity) to pick up this type of content? I'm guessing there's a fee associated with everything (it's always money related, right?), but I feel like a lot of folks are missing out on some awesome content. And the university, as a whole, could use some help in getting these types of stories out to the masses.
