I feel like Newton had been seen on Georgia State campus pretty much every offseason. I'm not sure what the connection is...(maybe he trains at our facility?) but it's pretty awesome seeing him here. We just hosted a recruiting visit, I wonder if this was related or purely a coincidence.

A lot of commercials get filmed at GSU Stadium and the Sports Arena due to location.

He went to Grady. Opened his Cigar Bar in Atlanta during Superb Owl week. Pretty sure he lives in Atlanta during the offseason.

My personal hope is that there is some miracle cream Georgia State is developing that fixes untreated AC Joint damage.
