What were the circumstances of him getting fired from Weight State? Curious situation.

He often sneers at players from the sideline. Wondering if his personality caused a rift because winning 22 games at Wright State isn’t fireable. But it’s a gamble UMKC should roll the dice - though Hinson wins as often with a much more engaging personality.

I remember reading an article that he got sideways with a big booster, which means he got sideways with the AD at Wright State.
I suspect he learned his lesson and will come to KC a little more humble. I thought I heard a lot in the presser about building relationships with alumni and community.

Looks like a great hire did more with less .
A basketball Operations center or practice center.
Maybe an updated bleacher system increasing Swinney center to 2500 seats.
That is what I would push for if A.D. give him some tools .
