Great game! Three pointers were off the rails and made up for missed free throws. What a fast and powerful squad. I am declaring tomorrow a holiday here in MS. I hope our guy is okay, but that had ACL injury written all over it. Congrats to Jr! Elite 8 for first time in 33 years.

Thank ya, uh, thank ya very much!. War Damn Eagle Baby! Could you imagine if Auburn could somehow get by Kentucky (should they win of course) and nothing here against Houston, but can you imagine having to beat Kansas, North Carolina and Kentucky to get to the final 4? That's a helluva a year and one for the record books if it comes to that!

What a path they have taken. You all are making me a happy man. Kansas and UNC are way more than I could have ever asked for. I think beating Kansas really lit their fire. That was basically a home game for the Jayhawks. It is never the best record. It is who gets hot at tourney time. Auburn got it all together in the SEC tourney.

Auburn is on a great, sustained run. Excellent coaching there.

No one will say you had an easy path beating those teams. Congrats again

South Carolina women are being clobbered by Baylor. 49-23 at the half. Baylor has been outstanding all year.

If 1 seed Mississippi State beats 2 seed Oregon in Portland; and 4 seed Texas A&M beats 1 seed Notre Dame in Chicago, the SEC could get 2 in the final four. That will be tough.

Kim Mulkey is an excellent coach, and she was so cute when she played at La Tech. You know your old when you watched her play as a kid and watched her son play baseball at L.S.U..

IMO, the SEC should have hired Mulkey away a long time ago and I wouldn't be surprised to see Tennessee make a run at her.

National Auburn Day in MS is now National Auburn Week! What a great game. Those two teams pounded each other for 45 minutes. Auburn was in serious foul trouble but pulled it off. Congrats Jr. What a path they have taken. I am speechless...04-cheers

I would not call Auburn Cinderella as some nitwit commentator did. They fought hard through the SEC tournament and knocked off a string of bluebloods to get to the final 4. Congrats Auburn fans.

I fully expect Auburn and Texas Tech to be in the Championship game.

From there, I have no idea, but I think it will be a great game.

It's a very interesting final four. Each has their own unique story and case to make.

Here are the current odds:

What a crappy way to lose a game! The refs miss a double dribble that would have given us the ball back, and then in a game that had been uber physical with few fouls called call a touch foul on the final shot to give Virginia's best free throw shooter 3 shots in a 2 point game.

Nothing against Virginia it was a tit for tat game of spurts, but I'd be lying if I said I was fine with the ending.

Still a season for the record books for Auburn. War Eagle!

A heartbreaker for Auburn, but an outstanding game.
I kept thinking, this needs to have a re-match.

A high school ref would have made the double dribble call. They could not have reviewed that play? Auburn fouled and stopped the clock. Did the Auburn coaching staff even say anything? Once again they use replay for everything but what is important. What an utter disappointment. 01-lauramac2
