That didn't seem right to me so I looked it up. I thought you were talking about the Elmore brothers but you're talking about a father-son combo. I guess I should have realized Dell and Steph are father-son.

And yes, they are now #1 among father-son combos. Congrats.

I would assume that there will be a return game at Northern Iowa either this year or next.

UNT fans will probably find out our OOC a few weeks before the season starts. And it will likely be OU and the projected last place team from each other conference.

This is the same thing Marshall played in before this year started. You will play 3-4 teams from the Bahama's.

This doesn't look to be the same tournament. We played 3 local Bahamas teams.

Rice is playing Milwaukee. Then the winner of Liberty and Morgan State.

With East Carolina, Evansville, George Washington and UMKC on the other side of the bracket.

Bowling Green, Ohio got its name from Bowling Green, Kentucky. Bowling Green, Kentucky, at least according to one source, got its name from Bowling Green, Virginia, which apparently got its name from the plantation of a man who donated land for a courthouse. In Virginia, you take the Bowling Green exit off 95 to get cheap gas at the truck stops.

I guess this is to say that the WKU-BGSU game should be held at the Flying J.

Looks like your non conference schedule is way better than last season already....

RE: 2019 MBB non-conference
Was told at practice by Dan D'Antoni and Mark Cline that Marshall has signed a H/H with College of Charleston. This year in Huntington and next year in Charleston SC.

That leave one open spot still to be filled next year.

at Notre Dame
at Florida
at Toledo
Robert Morris
Howard
Duquesne (Cleveland) (Huntington next year)
Eastern Kentucky
Akron
at Morehead State
Northern Iowa (Not sure of locatition)
College of Charleston

Not a bad OOC slate.

This is the type of schedule every decent CUSA program should strive for. It isn't loaded with brand names, but there are a bunch of solid squads there. It is the most realistic thing we can put together short of whoring ourselves out for ten buy games. Well done Marshall.

Ex UNCC player, Ex Kansas State/Maryland asst. coach Dalonte Hill has been hired as an assistant at USM. Hill was once one of the highest paid assistants in the nation until he had a few DUI's. Sounds like he's turned his life around though. USM is no stranger to giving coaches 2nd chances (Larry Eustachy).

He was once the nation’s highest paid assistant. USM is giving him a second chance.

Sounds like a good hire. Austin Peay has been improving lately-- excellent sign to hire him away.

RE: 2019 MBB non-conference
2 questions.

1) is the CUSA/Horizon/SBC scheduling thing still on?
2) are home/road splits in league play expected to be opposite of last year?

I saw where Charlotte is hosting Wake Forest on Nov. 17th. Wake has been down recently but hosting a P5 is always a good thing.
