Amazing write up on Nathan!

Nate puts up 13 and 4 and fouls out in 24+ minutes. 5-6 FT, 4-10 FG, 0-4 3PT. Looks like he won the opening tip. He made all 3 free throws after being fouled on a 3 pointer at the end of the 3rd quarter, and converted an and-1 at the end of the first half.

Plus, got his 2nd T in as many games.....Solid game, but didn't seem to have his high end energy today.

Timberwolves vs Bucks. 4pm today, ESPN3.

Nate struggling with his fouls again with two in the first four minutes. Minnesota has added Kerry Blackshear to the roster and he has looked good as Nate's replacement. He will be a lot of competition for Nate. Nate continuing to struggle beyond the arc.

You must be new to how basketball is called these days. I mean, I hear you. I'm old school when pivot feet mattered and you got 2 steps. Now, especially at the pro level, they allow these hop and gather steps that supposedly don't count towards your 2 steps into your shooting motion. It's a travel to these eyes too, but perfectly legal in today's NBA.

He had another nice pump fake and drive to the basket later where he scored against three players with contact and got the And one.

Timberwolves vs 76ers, 7pm tonight, ESPN2.

Celtics have one of the championship spots locked up. Timberwolves are comfortably in 2nd, and can essentially lock up the other spot with a win tonight and maintaining their point spread. Interesting concept to use scoring differential to break standing ties. Great opportunity if Nate gets that championship game spotlight.

I had just excitedly pointed out Nate to my wife and almost immediately came the opening slam. Wow!! I hope the kids that we are recruiting get a chance to see it.

The announcers mentioned that Knight became our defacto point guard his senior year due to injuries, which doesn't exactly seem true, but I guess I'll take the praise for him

He's going against Paul Reed, who won the G-League MVP last season and currently leads both teams scoring.

Nate needs to develop on defense.

Timberwolves vs Pelicans tonight, 7:30 pm, ESPN3. Pair of undefeated teams in consolation matchup. Hopefully, Nate can finish summer league with a bang up performance. A little easier matchup with the slower, 7'2" Pasecniks than he had against Reed in his last outing.

TWolves also just traded away Juancho Hernangomez, a forward who was ahead of Nate on the depth chart. We'll see if they pick anyone else up (as far as I know Nate is still on a 2 way contract, so he can only appear in so many games), but that could offer him some more opportunities.
