Looking in your crystal ball is Cincy one of those 5? I agree the league needs to perform like this season with teams in all tourneys and making deep runs. It is just good for business all the way around.

If Jarron C comes back, we will be a tourney team for the 11th year in a row.

The WNIT is still in its Sweet 16.

Also, I don't think schools and conferences make any money off the NIT and CBI. I think the schools are only given enough money to cover the expenses.

Updated.

Of course they don't make money. It's money having them still in contention.

Which 5 teams do you expect to make the tourney? I think Memphis, Cincy, and Houston make it (with Memphis likely making it deep with their recruiting class). Temple could be a 4th but I don’t really know who they’re losing. We (UCF) are losing our most crucial players with BJ, Fall, and likely Dawkins. I highly doubt we will bounce back that quick.

Not really sure about the status of Wichita, UCONN, etc.

Wichita is almost definitely going to be projected to make the tournament next year.

McDuffie and Haynes-jones. They had some of the fewest returning division 1 minutes in the country for this season and took a bit to get rolling. For all intents and purposes they will return everyone next season with most having made contributions at some point in the season. Dexter Dennis, Stephenson, and the viking berserker have all played great down the stretch and into the NIT.

The senior loss will hurt, but they will recover with a ton of people capable of giving them minutes to fill those roles.

Thanks for the info, future looking bright on the basketball side. We’ll continue carrying the torch in football
