I hope so, I have always admired him and his attitude on the floor. I even liked his self anger. Shows he really cares!!

Excited to see at least one of the guys come back. Each one that comes back inches the meter in the right direction.

Great news...Luke is well-respected and his decision to stay should send a positive signal. His play the final quarter of the season improved greatly, especially his aggressive defense and, for the first time, driving and penetrating on offense.

If Milon transfers, and I still hear rumblings this is not a done deal as offers have not exactly flooded in and remain a paucity of suitors, he becomes a basketball vagabond playing with three schools in five years

Congratulations to Luke on deciding to stay. We are excited that you are coming back and believe the best is yet to come!

As was said above this is movement in a positive direction. Here's hoping that the rest of the guys in the portal, sans Pierce find their way back along with Nathan Knight after benefitting from the NBA experience ala JWF last year. Best of luck to JP where ever he lands.

Article in Daily Press states Milon and Pierce will leave as grad transfers and Lowe staying:

He's an important returner. He is most likely the team's captain if Nate doesn't return.

Agreed, plus players voted him at MBB banquet the player with the most hustle this year if I remember correctly.

Having Loewe, Pierce, and Milon be up front with their intentions is a real courtesy to Fischer. He doesn't need to waste his time selling to them and can spend his time trying to fill the holes. He is quoted as having no time table on getting an answer from LJ/Chase, but I think it is in the team's interest to allow a reasonable period but set a hard deadline for a decision. They either want to be here or they don't and for the team to sit idly by waiting for Chase or LJs perfect offer to come about does us a disservice.

In addition to that, their ambivalence puts the utilization of their scholarship at risk. Let’s hope this plays out soon. Having Chase and Luke in the perimeter is critical.

Came across this two year old video of Luke. Apologize if this was posted previously, but I don't recall seeing it. Glad Luke decided to stay. Dane was a PG, so, hope that pays dividends for Luke's development, and that Luke has a breakout year.
