On the second and final day of the Lake Charles Toyota Invitational golf tournament, Rice's Nick Duggan shot a 1-under 71 to improve from 61st to 49th place (+1) in the individual leaderboard. But as a team, the Owls sank from 17th place into the cellar (18th place; +21), one stroke behind Southeastern Louisiana. Two rounds were played on Monday, one today (Tuesday).

Dave Ravetto was the low individual (-19). He led TCU to the team title (-47), 15 strokes better than Texas Tech.
