RE: Go Owls!
If my count is correct, Fran's tournament record will be 3-17 after this game. That's pretty awful, even considering the fact most of his teams were bottom-half seeds.

Dang, looks it's down to just Houston, Cincy, and UCF to carry the AAC in the Big Dance through March.

And is there is any reason to think McKie can establish any kind of culture?

Rumor has it Allen Iverson is joining McKie on staff. McKie really wanted to bring in a disciplinarian that would make everyone have extreme focus during practice.

No idea at this point. He's a willing participant in this mess.

is mcakie high energy when not on the bench?

ive noticed that players, fans (in the arena) take the energy of their coach

uconn was low energy last year (under ollie)...but was high energy under hurley
temple is way too low energy ..i rarely see passion from them

Lol... if Memphis would have made the play in game? They would have played their ass off.

Same for WSU.

Temple represented the league about as bad as you could have. This is a tough defensive minded league and then Temple is the first thing America sees from the AAC on a national stage.

Just a bad representation

Not a laugher at all, while we're on the outside looking in from the NIT. Temple made the play-in game tryouts and fell short. Neither of us even made the cut for tryouts.

Hopefully one or both of us can march through the NIT and set the stage heading into next season for an additional couple NCAAT teams from the AAC.

You'd be pretty brave to pick ucf to best Duke in the 2nd round.

Cincy will have trouble with Tennessee but if they get past them that isn't the hardest region given how Virginia tends to do in the tournament.

Houston should get to the sweet 16 but I wouldn't favor them vs Kentucky.

Would be pretty shocked if we had an elite 8 team
