Sometimes they do the “eye test” to put teams in. IMO they could have done the eye test to keep Temple out. Anyways, I’m glad we got 4 teams in the tournament even if TU didn’t make it to the big boy dance. As others have stated, if we ever want to get some respect (and decent seeding) we’re gonna have to win when it counts.

FWIW, I’m not sure Memphis would have done much better, but hopefully those days are close to over.

I think Aarons demeanor will be more like Pennys, more staid on the sidelines. I think Dunphy became more indulgent over time. But Aaron will be fierce and determined IMO, it’s what defined his college and pro careers.

The players on that Temple team were recruited to play in the Temple System (players generally take after the coaches demeanor, they wouldn't fit in most of the other system in this conference... Would still like to see more passion in the future.

BTW, if we want to considered a major Basketball conference we need to win against the likes of Belmont, That should be our expectation... Temple did not put up the effort needed for them to win that game!!!

Memphis was not kept out by Temple. Probably 8-10 teams were ahead of the Tigers. Memphis was kept out because of the early season results. Most likely our roles will be reversed next year and I can write the b/tchy whiny post.

Temple represented the league about as bad as you could have. This is a tough defensive minded league and then Temple is the first thing America sees from the AAC on a national stage.
