My niners will be much improved.

I don't know who WKY has coming in, but do they lose Bassey? If they lose Bassey and Bearden, thats tough..but they should be Pod 1.

ODU has to replace Stith/Caver

USM loses a ton

Marshall loses a ton

UTSA has to be up there.

UAB loses a lot but Bryant is a stud

LT will be better if Bracey doesn't transfer

Those teams were all NCAA Tournament worthy.

Maybe not Marshall, but agree on the other 3.

Here is hoping Purdue beats the MF living crap out of you and ends CUSAs winning streak, just because you people think you are above this conference and everyone in it.

If others don't believe that to be true I suggest you read their board here sometimes. You would think they think they are the next ACC or even SEC worthy team.

ODU was destroyed, don't let the final score fool ya ODU was down 20 at one point. ODU wanted to get the monkey off their back of not making the touney and the monkey pissed all over their back...

Again like last year in the CUSA tourney, they can't even get the score to 50.... The 48 points ODU scored is the 2nd lowest of 1st day action, only Abilene Christian scored less at 44. But then again they were playing #1 seed Kentucky.

Hey, D'Antoni...you are the only one that is infatuated with points scored. Losing 90-77 is no better than losing 61-48. (better than losing 104-67 to Maryland or 101-84 to Ohio or 93-82 to Duquesne or 92-68 to Texas A&M or 100 to 64 to UVA or 101-51 to USM) Yikes, I didn't realize it was that bad when I started.

That was supposed to be as the conference (or co-conference) favorites. Marshall was outscored 48 to 0 by ODU in the NCAA tourney.

Agree with both of those, I'd expect LT and UTSA to contend as well.

It doesn't count when you get 20 wins vs the 347th rated SOS like UNT. Evidenced by their conference beat down they took. It does nothing for cusa.

Was it 88-84 or something? When we went 1-0 at your place this aeason. Then pods protected you from further beat downs. You got some more coming next season. 4 years of ncaa eins, until ODU finally wins cusa then they screw it up.

More NCAA wins than ODU since they joined CUSA. ODU must really suck then.

Yeah, Pod play protected us from the mighty herd. We just had to face better teams like UAB and WKU.

I'm going to guess that goherd24herdfans won't be talking so much by January of next year. Just try to keep Marshall in the top 300 so that you don't drag everyone down.

Since we are playing the what if game and flipping scores. UTEP lost 11 games by 7 points or less and three of those losses were to NCAA tournament teams. Add to that UTEP was leading in those games in the second half. I don't think UTEP will be the drain on the conference next year, that they were this year.

I think UTEP will be pretty good next year. A helluva lot better than Marshall.

I'm hoping you guys improve across the board. Your fans have waited long enough and deserve something to cheer about.

Your comment does not represent the truth about our season.

We were mostly healthy during our non-conference schedule. But, North Texas was down several players through significant portions of the conference schedule. At one point, UNT was only able to play a 6 man rotation in conference games. In the conference tournament, we were a little healthier, but no where near 100%. I'm not saying we would have been a contender had we been healthy, our team has some issues (size and depth), but North Texas was a solid team before the injuries started to mount. In our 20 wins, we did have a few quality wins.

I am beginning to wonder if we should add a couple of really bad teams so that the top teams will have more wins.

Lets see the power conferences can get 5 to 7 teams in.

The bottom 1/3 conferences if they have 2 great teams and the rest crap get 2 in

And Cusa gets one...... nice

Considering the crater Donny Tindal put us in, I'm just glad we've crawled out. Now Doc and Spoon need to fill some holes.
