I know it’s early for this type of thread, but I just read Daniel Utomi is leaving Akron as a grad transfer. First of a few I’d expect once Goodman’s list starts going. I figure Ohio will have some movement with the new coach as well.

That one really hurts. I was expecting Akron to be a top 2-3 team next season given that all they were losing was Ivey and had a couple of impact players coming in. We'll probably be somewhere in the middle of pack now.

I think Xeyrius Williams will step into Iveys role pretty well. Maybe with Utomi leaving early, Groce will have a chance to get a grad transfer to fill his roster spot.

Per Jeff Goodman, Jason Carter has entered the transfer portal. Given he’s already used a redshirt year, he’ll need a waiver to avoid a sit one play one situation.

He's a basketball analyst at the Stadium network. He has seemed to have his name attached to a lot of these player transfer news, particularly for mid-majors.

Goodman is a pro. He knows his stuff.

Bryce Moore, one of the starters sideline all this past season for the Broncos, is jumping on the Titanic lifeboat and transferring.

Meh, Carter to Xavier is a blow. Kirk is addition by subtraction. He was more likely "asked" to leave as opposed to transferring on his own

Apparently Carter is set to graduate this spring / summer, which would allow him to not have to sit a year and play 2 at Xavier. Similar to Joe Burrow who left Ohio state to play QB at LSU.
